Print based on an original 20x16 Watercolor Painting
20x16 Watercolor Painting. This was one of my largest and most ambitious pieces yet. Reference was a royalty free photo I then manipulated using my artistic license. Cooler and slightly darker colors on the right, warmer and lighter colors on the left. The viewer's eye is drawn from the lead in of the tranquil pool in the foreground and winding its way up to the waterfalls and ending in the strong bright light and the distant mountains. I used primarily Daniel Smith Primatek paints which are organic mineral based paints which, if you see the original, has shimmer from the mica in the paints in the rocks, which can ONLY be appreciated on the original painting.
